Senior Officer - Procurement

The incumbent is responsible for supporting procurement activities for HKRI’s Hospitality Business Units in Discovery Bay, including hotels and clubs. The role manages sourcing and purchasing of operational services, supplies, engineering, and equipment categories, while delivering value through strategic sourcing, supplier management, cost optimization, and procurement governance in line with business and service requirements. Responsibilities: Execute end-to-end procurement activities for assigned hospitality categories, including sourcing and tendering, quotation evaluation, supplier negotiation, contract administration and supplier award recommendations; Support procurement categories of Hospitality Operations Services & Supplies, Hospitality Engineering & Equipment, such as culinary supplies and uniforms, hotel and clubs equipment, kitchen equipment, outsourced operational services; Partner with hotel and club stakeholders to understand business requirements, develop sourcing strategy and identify value creation opportunities; Conduct supplier sourcing, market research and commercial analysis to ensure competitive pricing, quality and service standards; Prepare sourcing and tender documents, quotation analysis and procurement reports to support management decision-making; Manage PO follow-up and coordinate with suppliers and user departments to ensure timely fulfilment of operational requirements; Monitor supplier performance, service levels and contract compliance, and coordinate resolution of quality, delivery and commercial issues; Maintain accurate procurement data, documentation, and system records to ensure transparency, audit readiness, and operational efficiency; Support the implementation, governance and continuous improvement of procurement policies, procedures, and controls, identifying opportunities to enhance process efficiency; Contribute to value creation initiatives, such as spend analysis and cost optimization; and Support procurement transformation initiatives, process improvements and other projects as assigned. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or above in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Hospitality Management or related disciplines Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in procurement, sourcing, tendering, or purchasing operations, preferably within a corporate or multi-business unit environment Experience in hotel, club, or hospitality procurement is preferred Familiarity with procurement systems and tools, including ERP platforms and e-sourcing or procure-to-pay workflows, with a focus on data integrity and process efficiency Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint and Chinese word processing Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and engage constructively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese Self motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and delivery focus Detail-oriented with solid analytical capabilities, ensuring accuracy in procurement documentation, data management, and reporting Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and a service-oriented mindset, capable of building effective working relationships and supporting business needs Work Location: Discovery Bay Free transportation to Discovery Bay will be provided.
