Scrum Master (Technical Team) - Contract

Our client is a leading insurance company. Key Responsibilities: Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Stand-up, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Retrospective for Technical / Non-Functional teams. Coach and support the team in effectively applying Agile/Scrum principles and practices. Identify, track, and help resolve impediments, risks, and dependencies that may impact team performance and delivery. Coordinate with Development, Infrastructure, Security, Architecture, and other relevant teams to ensure smooth project execution. Monitor sprint progress, delivery status, and timelines to ensure alignment with project plans and objectives. Support the team in managing activities related to Infrastructure, Security, Performance, and System Architecture. Coordinate and monitor Non-Functional Requirements (NFR) such as Reliability, Scalability, Availability, Performance, and Security. Monitor and report project status, risks, issues, and dependencies to relevant stakeholders. Promote continuous improvement of team processes and ways of working in line with Agile principles. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. 3–5 years of experience as a Scrum Master. Experience working with Technical, IT, Infrastructure, or Software Development teams. Strong understanding and practical experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Strong facilitation, coordination, and problem-solving skills, with experience managing risks, issues, impediments, and dependencies. Ability to effectively coordinate and communicate with cross-functional stakeholders, including Developers, Infrastructure, Security, and Architects. Basic understanding of Non-Functional Requirements (NFR), including Reliability, Scalability, Availability, Performance, and Security. Strong communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills. CSM (Certified ScrumMaster) or PSM (Professional Scrum Master) certification is required. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Infrastructure, Cloud, Cybersecurity, System Architecture, or Performance Management. Experience working on large-scale Enterprise, Banking, or Financial Services projects. Experience in a Technical Project Manager, Program Manager, or Agile Project Manager role. Experience managing cross-functional teams or coordinating across multiple technical teams.
