Cleaning & Restoration Technician

JAE Christchurch Northwest is an established, locally owned business providing specialist restoration and cleaning services across Canterbury. We’re looking for a motivated Restoration Technician to join our experienced and supportive team. This is a practical, customer-focused role working across residential and commercial properties throughout Christchurch. You’ll help restore homes and businesses affected by water damage, stains, odours and other property issues — making a real difference for customers when they need it most. No industry experience? No problem. We’re more interested in the right attitude, reliability and willingness to learn. Full training and ongoing support will be provided. About You We’re looking for someone who: 🔹 Enjoys practical, hands-on work 🔹 Takes pride in doing a quality job 🔹 Has strong communication and customer service skills 🔹 Is reliable, organised and self-motivated 🔹 Holds a Full NZ Driver Licence 🔹 Can work independently once trained 🔹 Is willing to participate in a rostered after-hours/on-call system 🔹 Has empathy and patience when supporting customers through stressful situations Most importantly, we’re looking for someone with a great attitude, strong work ethic and a genuine willingness to learn.
