Auto Electrician Location: Queenstown, NZ Company: Remarkable Electrical Ltd (Trading as Laser Electrical Queenstown & Queenstown Batteries) About the Role We are a long-standing local business seeking a skilled Auto Electrician to join our small, close-knit team. We proudly serve our community across both electrical and auto electrical sectors, offering battery sales, field services and specialist repairs. In this varied role, you will handle: Installations & Repairs: Work on a diverse fleet, including passenger vehicles, marine, motorhomes, commercial vehicles, aircraft, and off-grid tiny homes. Diagnostics: Perform vehicle scanning, fault finding, and advanced troubleshooting both on and off-site. Air Conditioning: Service and repair automotive A/C systems. Battery Sales: Provide customer-facing advice, testing, and sales for specialist battery applications. What We Offer Competitive Pay: $35.00 – $40.00 / hour (based on experience). Guaranteed Hours: Minimum 45 hours per week, plus overtime opportunities when available. Company field service vehicle. Excellent admin support. What You Bring Experience: 3+ years as a qualified Automotive Electrician working across a wide variety of vehicles. Technical Skills: Strong diagnostic capabilities, A/C servicing skills, and experience with battery sales. Mindset: A positive, can-do attitude with strong problem-solving skills and a pride in "getting it right the first time." Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer-service focus.
