The Role: A Champion of Growth and Development As our Learning and Development Specialist, you will design and deliver learning experiences that grow our people and strengthen our business. You will work closely with department leaders to identify skill gaps, build programs that close them, and measure the impact of every initiative. This is a high-ownership role for someone who loves teaching, instructional design, and seeing others succeed. Key Responsibilities & Outcomes Learning Needs Diagnosis: Partner with department leaders, HRBPs, and managers to surface real capability gaps using performance data, interviews, and benchmarking — and translate them into clear, prioritised learning objectives. Program Design & Development: Design and build technical, functional, and leadership learning experiences across in-person, e-learning, and blended modalities — applying adult-learning principles and proven instructional-design frameworks. Facilitation & Learning Delivery: Lead engaging, outcome-focused training sessions for employees at all levels; coach internal subject-matter experts to deliver their own programs effectively. Impact Measurement & ROI: Evaluate program effectiveness using a structured framework, link learning to business KPIs, and report findings to leadership with clear recommendations. LMS & Learning Technology: Operate, optimise, and continuously improve learning tools to ensure accurate records, seamless learner experience, and reliable data for decision-making. Continuous Improvement: Stay current on L&D trends (AI-assisted learning, microlearning, learning analytics) and bring relevant innovations into NgernTurbo's learning architecture. Required Experience & Qualifications Professional Experience: A minimum of 1 year of professional experience in training, learning and development, or a related instructional role. Educational Foundation: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field. Technical Skills: Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning development platforms. Essential Qualities & Skills Instructional Design: A strong foundation in adult learning principles and the ability to create effective, engaging training content from scratch. Exceptional Facilitator: A confident and dynamic presenter who can engage audiences at all levels of the organization. Analytical Mindset: The ability to conduct needs analysis and use data to measure the effectiveness and ROI of training programs.
