Diesel Mechanic Tradestaff is looking for a skilled and reliable Diesel Mechanic to join a busy operation in North West Auckland. Put your diagnostic and mechanical expertise to work keeping heavy equipment performing at its best. Location: North West Auckland, Auckland Start date: Immediate start Pay rate: $35–$45 per hour + weekly pay What You'll Be Doing Service and repair diesel engines and associated components Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults Carry out preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing Repair and maintain heavy vehicles, plant, and machinery Identify faults and complete repairs efficiently Complete inspections and maintain accurate service records Work safely while keeping the workshop tidy and organised What We're Looking For Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Diesel Mechanic, or similar Relevant mechanical or heavy automotive qualification preferred Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills Experience with trucks, plant, construction equipment, or other heavy machinery Good knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems Full NZ driver licence Reliable, safety-focused, and capable of working independently What's in It for You?
