This is a hands-on role, working closely with the Director to carry out and coordinate day-to-day farm activities as the 55ha enterprise is established. Key Responsibilities Supervise day-to-day farm operations and production activities Manage irrigation, plant health and crop care Coordinate seasonal staff and contractors Operate and maintain farm and agricultural machinery Monitor weeds, pests and diseases Support crop establishment and harvest activities Maintain basic farm records and contribute to improving day-to-day farm practices About You We’re looking for someone with experience in commercial lavender production, horticulture, floriculture or a similar production environment. You’ll have: Experience supervising farm or horticultural operations Practical knowledge of irrigation and plant health Experience with pruning, weed, pest and disease management Confidence operating agricultural or horticultural machinery Experience supervising contractors, seasonal workers, or farm teams Good communication, organisation and problem-solving skills A proactive, hands-on approach Relevant horticultural qualifications or equivalent hands-on experience with lavender will be highly regarded.
