Accounts Executive

About the role This role involves liaising with internal auditors on accounting issues, assisting in operational review and control, and ensuring accounting records and systems comply with company policies, approved accounting standards, and statutory requirements. You will be involved in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing of accounts and preparation of accounts and payments. Key responsibilities Liaise with internal auditors on accounting issues Assist in operational review and control and other ad hoc requirements Ensure accounting records and systems are in compliance with company policies, approved accounting standards and statutory requirements Involve in the process for monthly, quarterly and year end closing of accounts and preparation of accounts and payments Compile and analyze financial information for timely preparation of financial statements and reporting Ensure all documents are properly filed and easily accessible Assist in daily accounting operation and liaise with company secretary and other statutory bodies About you Possess at least LCCI / Diploma or Degree in Accounting 3 - 5 years working experience Computer literate, familiar with Microsoft Office Applications Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with our diverse client base and stakeholders. Ability to maintain clear and accurate financial records Ability to work independently An organized and methodical approach to working Proactive working attitude with ability to meet deadline
