We're on the lookout for a dynamic and seasoned Maintenance Manager to join our team, overseeing maintenance operations at Cardrona and associated locations. In the role of Maintenance Manager, you'll be instrumental in steering the day-to-day operations of the Cardrona Maintenance department. Your leadership will guide a dedicated maintenance team, ensuring seamless resort operations that deliver unforgettable experiences for our guests while prioritizing safety. Your responsibilities will encompass strategic planning, leadership, team management, and oversight of maintenance activities, including those related to lifts and assets. You will be responsible for: Reviewing and optimising maintenance processes and procedures. Spearheading the development and implementation of maintenance management plans. Providing robust leadership to the maintenance team, aligning with our values and safety culture. Recruiting, supervising, and managing the maintenance team to ensure optimal performance. Collaborating with various departments to efficiently allocate resources and skills. Developing and executing a comprehensive maintenance program for lifts, buildings, and generators. Coordinating with external contractors for repairs and maintenance activities. Ensuring efficient management of maintenance budgets and expenditures. Overseeing health and safety protocols, compliance, and risk management. Participating in management meetings and delivering regular reports on budget and operational performance. We're looking for someone who has: Maintenance qualification and management experience. Ski Area/Ropeways Specific Qualifications (Preferred). Experience in ski area maintenance, vehicle, facility, and plant management (Preferred). Proven leadership skills and effective people management experience. Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills. Proficiency in computer applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook. A valid driver's license.
