About the role The Human Resources Director has an integral role in the growth plan of Alta Resources in the Philippines. This position serves as a strategic business partner for the Philippine office in conjunction with the US Alta Resources locations and global HR functions. The incumbent is responsible for directing HR activities related to corporate standardization and implementation of company Human Resources policies, processes, programs and services, including recruitment, selection, retention, organizational development, legal compliance, employee benefits, compensation, employee and labor relations, employments practices and procedures, and employee communications. Key responsibilities Provide HR direction, leadership, and expertise requiring sound judgment and independent decision-making at all levels in the Philippines site Develop an effective consultative partnership with Philippine and US leadership and nurture excellent relationships in order to implement corporate initiatives and programs Foster a culture which is more attuned to the corporate culture of Alta in alignment with the strategic mandates of governed growth, achieved profitability, reduced risk, and applied innovation Support the Philippine Talent Acquisition Director in Company's recruitment plan, support operational leaders with a retention plan and support programs to ensure ongoing ability to meet staffing objectives and client service levels Review, in conjunction with US HR, compensation and benefit policies to ensure competitive programs that are compliant with Philippine laws Plan, develop, organize, implement, and evaluate the company's Human Resource function and performance Utilize organizational programs for leadership development and create training and organizational development initiatives to meet personal, professional, and organizational needs of Philippine based employees Partner with payroll leadership on payroll practices to ensure regulatory compliance Recommend and establish company policies and procedures to ensure uniform implementation across the organization Provide leadership and professional mentorship to the members of the Talent Acquisition team About you Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Psychology, Human Resources or Business related field At least seven years' required up to ten years' experience preferred in all Human Resource functional areas At least seven years' required up to ten years' preferred of management experience Background in a call center industry is preferred Relevant credentials in Human Resources such as SPHR, PHR, SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP is preferred English proficiency required Ability to analyze and assess training and development needs Experience in design, development, and implementation of salary administration plans and benefit programs Experience in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures Knowledgeable in Philippine Labor Laws and standards
