Turbo & Diesel is a busy, independent Frankton workshop across diesel, petrol, 4WD and Class 2 vehicles, and we're after a Senior Automotive Technician who's ready to take on the tough jobs and, for the right person, step into a workshop-lead role. This is still very much a hands-on role. You'll be on the tools every day, diagnosing vehicles, supporting the team, and helping us deliver quality work for our customers. What you'll be doing Diagnosing, servicing and repairing diesel, petrol, 4WD and light commercial vehicles Taking ownership of complex faults and the difficult jobs Supporting workflow, job quality and workshop efficiency Guiding and mentoring technicians when required Liaising with customers and the workshop team to keep jobs moving Maintaining high standards of safety, workmanship and customer care What we're looking for Trade-qualified Automotive Technician, or substantial proven industry experience Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability Diesel experience highly valued WOF authority an advantage, but not essential A reliable, positive team player who leads by example Good communication skills and pride in doing the job right Leadership or foreman experience preferred, but strong senior technicians ready to step up are welcome too What we offer $38 to $45 per hour, depending on experience and capability Performance-based bonus opportunity Full-time, permanent role in Hamilton Modern equipment and a varied mix of work Supportive team with genuine room to grow into a leadership position Monday to Friday, stable and well-established independent workshop Applying takes about two minutes.
