As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Rooftop Solar Installer / Trade Assistant to join our high-performing installation team. About the Role You’ll play a hands-on role delivering quality solar installations across residential and commercial sites. Your responsibilities will include: Installing and mounting solar panels on rooftops Assembling racking systems and hardware Assisting with DC/AC wiring, inverters, and battery installations Preparing job sites (drilling, fixing, scaffolding setup) Support in testing systems and ensuring compliance with NZ standards Maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment Supporting the team to deliver projects on time About You 1–2+ years’ experience in solar, roofing, or construction Electrical experience (or EWRB registration) is an advantage but not essential Comfortable working at heights and outdoors Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail Positive attitude and willingness to learn Full driver’s license and ability to travel when required What We Offer Competitive salary (based on experience) Full-time role (40 hours/week, Mon–Sat flexibility) Paid training, mentoring, and career progression Work with a passionate, high-performance team Opportunity to grow in NZ’s fast-expanding solar industry Why Join Solar Hub?
