Wells is a leading nationwide instrumentation, electrical and automation service provider and contractor across New Zealand. Wells provides superior industrial solutions to our blue-chip customers in multiple industry sectors including food & beverage, infrastructure, manufacturing, 3-Waters, power generation, the health sector, dairy, oil and gas and petrochemical. We have an excellent opportunity for a suitably experienced Industrial Electrician based in Palmerston North and the wider Manawatu region. As a successful candidate, you are seeking a role where your initiative and excellent work ethic are rewarded and there are opportunities for growth and advancement. Requirements: · a registered electrician, with a current practicing licence. · a positive and flexible team player. · a minimum of 5 years of Industrial Electrical experience. Ideally you would have: · Some mechanical aptitude. · A sound industrial installation background. · Proven ability to work to deadlines. · Strong organisation skills with a focus on meeting objectives. · Excellent communication skills and a desire to work as part of a team. · A positive attitude with a commitment to training and personal development. · A willingness to work overtime where required · Experience within process industries and basic knowledge of PLCs would also be advantageous · A positive attitude and reliable work habits. · The ability to work unsupervised and complete tasks within tight timeframes · A willingness to learn and apply new skills · A current full NZ driver's licence Wells is committed to growing our team and provides support and development opportunities to the electricians we employ.
