About the role We are seeking a full-time Electrician to join our team at Elite Electrical Southland Ltd in Invercargill Central, Southland. As a full-time Electrician, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality electrical services to our diverse client base. This is a permanent, full-time position offering competitive remuneration and excellent opportunities for professional development. What you'll be doing This isn’t rinse-and-repeat work. If you want variety, you’ll get it: New builds Solar installs In-slab heating Heat pumps Domestic, commercial, and custom jobs No hiding in the corner doing the same task every day — you’ll be expected to get involved and pull your weight across the board. Carrying out a wide range of electrical installations, maintenance and repair work for domestic, commercial and industrial clients Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards and in compliance with relevant regulations and safety guidelines Providing technical advice and support to clients, helping them understand electrical systems and requirements Collaborating with other tradespeople, such as builders and plumbers, to coordinate and complete complex projects Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all work undertaken Proactively identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance the customer experience What we're looking for Qualified Electrician (or near qualified) with a relevant trade certificate or diploma Proven experience working as an Electrician in the trades & services industry Excellent technical skills and up-to-date knowledge of electrical systems, regulations and best practices Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused approach Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team A valid NZ driver's licence What we offer At Elite Electrical Southland Ltd, we are committed to providing our employees with a supportive and rewarding work environment.
