Our client, a well-established manufacturer of high-quality timber frame and truss products, is seeking a Frame & Truss worker to join their busy production team in Wellington. Whether you have experience in frame and truss manufacturing, carpentry, or as a hammerhand, we'd love to hear from you. About the Role As part of a skilled and supportive team, you'll be responsible for manufacturing timber wall frames and roof trusses to precise specifications. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced production environment where quality, safety, and teamwork are key. Key Responsibilities Assemble timber wall frames and roof trusses from plans and specifications. Measure, cut, and prepare timber components accurately. Operate workshop machinery and tools, including saws and nail guns. Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet required standards. Work efficiently to achieve daily production targets. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment. What We're Looking For Previous experience in frame and truss manufacturing, carpentry, or as a hammerhand is preferred but not essential. Ability to read and interpret plans or technical drawings. Strong practical skills and attention to detail. Physically fit and comfortable performing repetitive manual tasks. Reliable, punctual, and committed to producing quality work. A positive attitude and the ability to work well within a team. What's in It for You? $26–$28 per hour , depending on experience.
