About Us We are a passionate team focused on the development, regulation, promotion and administration of motorsport across Australia. As the National Sporting Organisation and custodian of four wheeled motorsport in this country, we are a dedicated, talented and collaborative team committed to doing what is best for the sport. About the Role As the Rally Manager, you will play a key role in supporting and developing the Rally disciplines across Motorsport Australia. Reporting to the Motorsport Sporting Manager, you will be responsible for the effective administration, governance, development and continuous improvement of Rally competitions, regulations and stakeholder engagement. This role works closely with national and state-based committees, officials, competitors and industry stakeholders to ensure the safe, fair and successful delivery of Rally motorsport across Australia. Key responsibilities include: Lead and deliver projects that support the innovation, development and growth of Rally motorsport, including FIA-related initiatives. Act as the primary contact for sporting matters across Rally Championships and Series, building strong relationships with key stakeholders. Oversee the administration and governance of Rally regulations, ensuring alignment with Motorsport Australia and FIA requirements. Review and provide guidance on supplementary regulations and rule changes relating to Rally competitions. Support and coordinate the activities of the Australian Rally Commission, Tarmac Rally Working Group and Rally Technical Working Group. Collaborate with State Rally Panels and their Chairs to drive consistency, cooperation and growth across the Rally community. Prepare strategic reports, submissions and briefing papers for Motorsport Australia leadership, committees and the Board. About You You’re a confident relationship-builder who can bring people together, navigate complex regulations and turn strategic priorities into action. Highly organised and detail-focused, you communicate clearly, manage competing demands and deliver projects within required timeframes. You’ll bring a collaborative, practical approach and a commitment to supporting colleagues and stakeholders. Experience in motorsport (specifically rally), sporting organisations, volunteer environments or member-based organisations would be an advantage, along with an enthusiasm for helping Rally motorsport grow. We will offer you a supportive environment and great team culture. This role is based at our office in Canterbury, Melbourne, with flexibility to work some hours from home. The role may require occasional travel to events and requires some after-hours and weekend work.
