🌱 NOW HIRING : Head Nursery Grower 📍 Mansfield’s Propagation Nursery | 🕒 Full Time – 38 hrs/week About the role Mansfield's Propagation Nursery is Australia's leading propagation nursery, and we have an exciting opportunity for a positive, enthusiastic and self-motivated experienced nursery professional to join our team as a Head Nursery Grower. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong industry experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, highly productive environment and is passionate about quality, people and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities Monitoring product growth, maintaining accurate records and providing reports on plant status Producing high-quality products in line with production and sales targets Identifying and managing pests and diseases Managing greenhouse climate and growing conditions Managing irrigation systems and requirements Planning and implementing spray and nutrition programs Implementing and developing processes across all areas under your control Maintaining high levels of hygiene throughout all areas of responsibility Providing direction, leadership and hands-on training to staff Supporting a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork and operational excellence About you Have industry experience, preferably in Growing Be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, highly productive environment Demonstrate a commitment to Continuous Improvement through process evaluation, development and training Display excellent communication, organisational and time management skills Have the ability to lead, motivate and support co-workers Be a strong team player with values aligned to ours Have a hands-on approach and a genuine passion for nursery production Join Our Team If you are an experienced nursery grower looking for your next challenge and believe you have the skills, experience and attitude to succeed in this role, we would love to hear from you!
