As OCS’s mechanical division, 1M delivers end‑to‑end air conditioning solutions—from design and installation to servicing and maintenance—backed by 20+ years of technical expertise. The Role As a Service Technician, you’ll carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repair work on HVAC systems across Auckland customer sites. You’ll ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard while representing 1M with professionalism. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Performing skilled HVAC installation, service, and repair tasks Completing routine maintenance and supporting plant modifications Diagnosing faults and repairing mechanical or electronic components Responding to breakdowns and troubleshooting system issues Preparing accurate service reports and maintaining work records Providing quotes for remedial work to the service estimator Adhering to all health and safety requirements Participating in training and maintaining relevant certifications About You The ideal candidate will bring: 4+ years of experience in HVAC servicing and installation A relevant NZ trade certificate in Refrigeration/Air Conditioning or HVAC (or equivalent) Electrical Service Technician and refrigerant filler licences A current and valid NZ driver’s licence Strong organisational skills and attention to detail The ability to work independently and under pressure Excellent communication skills A proactive, adaptable, and collaborative approach This role is subject to pre-employment checks and may require a clean criminal record.
