Precast & Construction Workers – Christchurch NZ Labour Hire is looking for experienced people to join a busy construction and precast operation in Christchurch. We have several positions available across precast concrete, yard work and carpentry , with ongoing work available for the right people. Roles available Precast / Yard Workers Working in a busy precast yard Preparing moulds and materials Concrete placing and finishing Steel fixing and tying Stripping and cleaning moulds General yard and labouring duties Working safely around machinery and heavy materials Precast Workers Previous experience in precast concrete is preferred Experience with concrete, steel fixing, formwork or moulds Ability to read basic plans or measurements Comfortable with physical, hands-on work Experience with lifting equipment or gantry cranes is an advantage Carpenters Qualified or experienced carpenters Formwork and boxing experience highly regarded General construction and structural carpentry experience Able to work from plans and measurements Good standard of workmanship and attention to detail What we're looking for Previous construction, precast, concrete or carpentry experience Reliable and punctual Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work Good attitude and able to work as part of a team Strong health and safety awareness Own transport is preferred Relevant tickets, licences or qualifications are an advantage What’s on offer Ongoing work Competitive pay based on experience Weekly pay Full PPE provided where required Potential for longer-term opportunities Work with established construction teams across Christchurch If you have experience in precast, concrete, formwork, carpentry or construction , we'd like to hear from you.
