We live by our values: Care Always | Grow Together | Craft with Purpose | Honor the Land About the role: Permanent Full-time Location: Gibbston Valley Wines - Otago, Gibbston $30.00 to $33.00 depending on the experience We are looking for a hands-on Landscape Gardner to support in maintaining and developing the gardens and landscaped areas across our property, while ensuring our grounds are presented to an exceptional standard for our guests year-round. Your key responsibilities will include: Maintaining gardens and landscaped areas throughout guest spaces and public areas Growing, harvesting, and caring for produce in the chef's greenhouse and kitchen gardens Maintaining the gardens surrounding our 24 luxury villas Lawn mowing, edging, hedge trimming, pruning, weeding, and general garden maintenance Irrigation maintenance and monitoring plant health Replanting and developing garden areas to enhance the property's appearance Assisting with landscaping projects and seasonal improvements Ensuring all gardens are maintained to a high standard at all times About you: Previous experience in gardening, horticulture, landscaping, or grounds maintenance Good plant knowledge and experience in plant care Experience growing vegetables, herbs, or greenhouse produce would be an advantage Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively A strong eye for detail and pride in maintaining high-quality outdoor spaces Physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions A positive attitude and strong work ethic Eligibility of work in New Zealand without any restrictions.
