Excavator Operator – Commercial Landscaping & Civil Construction 📍 Greenbank, QLD 💰 Competitive hourly rate based on experience | Weekly pay | Overtime available Join a Growing Queensland Landscaping & Construction Company BLC Queensland is growing, and we are looking for an experienced Excavator Operator to join our construction team based in Greenbank, QLD . This is a hands-on role operating 3–8 tonne excavators across a range of commercial landscaping, civil and infrastructure projects. We are looking for an operator who can confidently operate machinery, understands levels and site preparation, takes pride in producing quality work and can work effectively as part of a construction crew. About the Role As an Excavator Operator, you will play an important role in the successful delivery of our projects. Your responsibilities will include: Operating 3–8 tonne excavators safely and efficiently Bulk excavation, detailed excavation and site preparation Trenching and drainage works Loading trucks and moving materials Trimming batters, levels and subgrades to specification Assisting with landscape construction and civil works Working from plans, levels and site instructions Working closely with Site Supervisors, Foremen and labourers Completing daily pre-starts and routine machinery checks Maintaining a clean, safe and productive work environment Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within project timeframes About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Minimum 2 years' experience operating excavators in construction, civil or landscaping Proven experience operating 3–8 tonne excavators Excavator competency/ticket (essential) Bobcat/Skid Steer ticket (advantageous) Strong understanding of excavation, site preparation, drainage and construction processes Ability to read and work to levels and site plans Good understanding of safe work practices and site procedures Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a team White Card (essential) Current Driver Licence and MR Licence (essential) HR Licence (desirable) What We Offer Competitive hourly rate based on experience Weekly pay Full-time or casual employment available Opportunity for permanent employment following a successful probation period Overtime opportunities Superannuation Consistent work with a growing company Career progression and opportunities to take on greater responsibility Supportive, practical and down-to-earth team environment Work on large-scale commercial landscaping, civil and infrastructure projects Modern machinery and equipment About BLC Queensland BLC Queensland is an established landscaping construction company with over 20 years' industry experience .
