About the role LEAD Conveyancing is a growing Australian property law firm with a Philippine team of 16+ people directly employed by Lead Global Services Inc., our own entity in Manila. This is not a third-party outsourcing arrangement. We are looking for a hands-on People & Culture Lead to run the day-to-day people function for our Philippine team, lead our HR administration team, and own recruitment for roles in both Australia and the Philippines. You will also help keep selected people processes moving consistently across the wider business, working within approved processes and escalating specialist matters when needed. This role suits a strong HR Manager or Senior HR Generalist who is ready to step into broader ownership. It is not a strategy-only role: you will be close to the detail, build practical systems, support managers, and make sure actions are followed through. What you will own People operations & compliance Lead the Philippine employee lifecycle: contracts, 201 files, onboarding, regularisation, changes, offboarding, timekeeping, leave, and attendance. Coordinate payroll inputs and vendor cut-offs, and keep DOLE, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and BIR obligations on track. Manage employee records, compliance calendars, probation dates, and recurring HR deadlines with strong attention to detail. Recruitment - Australia & Philippines Run end-to-end hiring for Australian and Philippine roles: job ads, sourcing, screening, shortlisting, interview coordination, offers, and pre-employment steps. Use SEEK, LinkedIn, and local channels to build quality pipelines and give hiring managers clear, timely updates. Maintain an accurate recruitment tracker in Pipedrive or the approved system. Performance & manager support Coordinate probation, quarterly reviews, People Analyzer activity, PIPs, notices, and agreed follow-up actions. Help managers prepare for fair, documented conversations about performance, attendance, conduct, workload, or wellbeing. Keep routine onboarding, employee-document, record, leave, payroll-change, and offboarding steps moving across the teams using approved workflows. Recognise when an issue needs specialist or legal input and escalate it early. Culture, team leadership & reporting Lead and develop three HR Administrators, with clear priorities, quality checks, and practical coaching. Run pulse checks, recognition, onboarding, and retention initiatives that make sense for a distributed team. Provide a concise weekly people report covering headcount, hiring, open people matters, risks, and compliance deadlines. Build simple, reliable templates, trackers, and procedures so the function becomes easier to run and scale. What you will need At least five years of progressive HR experience, including senior generalist, HR business partner, manager, or people-lead responsibilities. Experience in a BPO, captive offshore team, outsourcing, shared-services, or distributed workforce environment. Strong knowledge of Philippine labour law, statutory compliance, payroll coordination, employee relations, and due process. Demonstrated end-to-end recruitment experience; Australian-market recruitment exposure is strongly preferred. Experience supervising or coordinating the work of HR team members. Strong written and spoken English, with confidence working directly with Australian leaders and managers. A structured, practical approach: you use clear trackers, dates, owners, and documentation, and you follow matters through. Based in or near Metro Manila and available during Australian-aligned business hours. NICE TO HAVE, NOT REQUIRED Experience supporting Australian leaders or employees through established HR processes; legal or professional-services experience; familiarity with EOS, People Analyzer, Rocks, and L10s; and experience with SEEK, Pipedrive, Asana, Notion, or similar tools. This role is not for you if Your HR experience is mainly data entry and filing, without meaningful recruitment or employee-relations exposure. You want a purely strategic role and do not enjoy hands-on operational work. You need a fully built HR system before you can be effective - some of the structure will be built as you go. You avoid difficult conversations, leave follow-up to others, or are uncomfortable working with Australian stakeholders. What is on offer PHP 150,000-170,000 per month, depending on experience. Direct employment with Lead Global Services Inc., not placement through a third-party BPO. A genuine opportunity to lead a small HR team and shape how the people function operates. A practical, visible role working directly with the Director of Strategy, Culture & Leadership and managers across the business. An EOS-led environment where priorities, Rocks, and accountabilities are discussed openly
