We are seeking an experienced and result-driven Head of Business Development to lead our Business Development and Project Management teams. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for driving our physical store expansion strategy, overseeing site selection and project execution, and building a high-performing team to accelerate our market presence. Key Responsibilities Strategic Planning & Target Execution: Align with annual corporate expansion goals. Formulate execution strategies, break down target milestones, and lead the team to execute high-priority growth initiatives efficiently. Goal Setting & Performance Management: Develop departmental action plans and cascade targets down to team members based on individual capabilities and regional potential. Project Oversight & Approval: Monitor site acquisition progress, review crucial site parameters (leasing costs, legal qualifications, foot traffic), track project milestones, and ensure full compliance with company standards. Store Expansion & Opening Support: Lead critical contract negotiations to secure prime locations and favorable lease terms. Coordinate internal cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to eliminate bottlenecks and ensure timely store openings. Team Leadership & Mentorship: Oversee the BD and PM teams. Provide hands-on coaching on core business logic, identify operational bottlenecks, and support team members—especially new hires and underperformers—to build key competencies. Qualifications & Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree or above from an accredited university. Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional experience with at least 1 year in a team management role. Deep familiarity with chain store development workflows and site acquisition processes. Preferred: Existing network and industry resources within target regional markets are highly preferred. Mobility & Working Conditions: Willingness to travel frequently (both short-term and extended business trips) and perform outdoor field/site inspections.
