Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET technologies, including C#, VB.NET, and related frameworks; Develop and maintain frontend applications using modern frameworks such as React, ensuring responsive and user-friendly interfaces; Implement and integrate frontend components with backend APIs and services, ensuring smooth data flow and performance; Support daily system operations, troubleshooting, and incident resolution for systems and connected services; Integrate and manage IoT devices within the smart mobility ecosystem, including handling device communication using messaging protocols such as MQTT and MSMQ; Ensure seamless integration with edge devices, specialized hardware terminals, sensors, and control systems; Implement and maintain database solutions using MySQL and PostgreSQL, including performance tuning, data integrity, and backup strategies; Support and enhance digital payment integrations, including EFT (credit card) reader systems and transaction workflows; Participate in system design, code reviews, and deployment processes to ensure best practices and high-quality delivery; Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance scalability and reliability; Other ad hoc duties as assigned Preferred Qualifications Solid understanding of relational database operations, including MySQL and PostgreSQL; experience with query optimisation, schema design, and data management; Hands-on experience with database housekeeping and migration tasks, including data archiving, index management, and cross-environment data transfers; Familiarity with NoSQL databases is a plus; Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders; Able to work effectively in a team environment, coordinate with vendors, and manage expectations across multiple parties; Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure; Familiarity with containerised and orchestration environments, including AWS ECS, EKS, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS); Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines within AWS or Azure DevOps environments.
