Manager - Safety and Administration

About the role VFS (THAILAND) LTD. is seeking an experienced Manager - Safety and Administration to join our team in Bangkok on a full-time basis . This is a manager position responsible for overseeing occupational health and safety initiatives, administrative operations, and compliance management across our organisation. The Manager - Safety and Administration will play a crucial role in fostering a safe, healthy, and compliant workplace environment whilst supporting the broader business objectives of VFS (THAILAND) LTD. Key responsibilities Developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive occupational health and safety policies and procedures aligned with Thai regulations and international best practices. Conducting regular workplace assessments, hazard identification, and risk evaluations to ensure a safe working environment for all employees Managing workplace incident investigations ,corresponding reports, health and safety records , root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences Coordinating and delivering health and safety training programmes to staff at all levels, including induction training and specialised safety workshops Overseeing administrative operations including office management, procurement, facilities coordination, buidling insurance renewal ,building licenses and general administrative support. Roll out of Major Refurbishment Projects. Involvement in infrastructure projects to monitor the refurbishment costs, progress and completion where resources are required at multiple sites or multiple resources at a major site Liaising with external stakeholders including regulatory authorities, occupational health providers, safety consultants ,housekeeping and other office administration suppliers . What we're looking for Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in occupational health and safety management, preferably in a supervisory or management capacity Bachelors degree in Occupational Health & Safety or Certified Health & Safety Officer with strong knowledge of Thai occupational health and safety legislation, labour laws, and regulatory compliance requirements Experience in developing and implementing health and safety policies, procedures, and management systems Demonstrated expertise in incident investigation, hazard assessment, and risk management methodologies Excellent organisational and administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and train employees at all organisational levels Professional certifications such as OHSAS 18001 auditor, ISO 45001, or equivalent health and safety qualifications are highly desirable Proficiency in English and Thai languages, both written and verbal Apply now If you meet the above requirements and are interested in this exciting opportunity, we encourage you to submit your application including your CV and a cover letter outlining your relevant experience and interest in the role.
