System Manager

Responsibilities: Lead digital transformation projects including automation and optimization across membership operations, content discovery and management, and internal business processes; Oversee the design, development, operation of large-scale systems including membership, customer relationship management, website content management, e-commerce, video-on-demand, resources discovery and search platforms, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability; Drive the adoption of AI and data-driven solutions to enhance operational efficiency and user experience; Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate customer and operational needs into effective digital solutions and roadmaps, applying agile practices; Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and digital trends, making strategic recommendations aligned with digital education priorities; Plan and manage departmental resources, including staffing, vendor engagement, procurement and budget control; Take up ad-hoc duties as required. Requirements: Bachelor Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or related discipline; At least 10 years of experience in system development, with a minimum of 4 years in a supervisory or leadership role; Proven experience in implementing large-scale digital platforms supporting membership system, Customer Relationship management (CRM), e-Commerce, Content Management System (CMS), digital marketing, and/or business workflow automation; Demonstrated success in driving digital transformation or system modernization initiatives; Strong hands-on experience with LAMP stack, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, open-source and AI technologies in hybrid cloud environments; Ability to conceptualize ideas and translate them into executable, value-driven projects; Good leadership, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills; Proven ability to motivate and guide teams towards shared goals within defined timelines; Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English; Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant System Manager.
