Quality Assurance Lead - Job Description Ziios (Thailand) Limited We are looking for a QA Lead who is passionate about software quality, team leadership, test automation, and AI-driven innovation. This role will lead a team of testers while helping evolve our Quality Assurance practices from traditional testing approaches to modern, AI-first quality engineering. Key Responsibilities Quality Leadership Lead, mentor, and develop a team of QA Engineers and Testers. Establish QA standards, best practices, and testing methodologies across projects. Define and execute quality strategies aligned with business and technology goals. Promote a quality-first culture and advocate for quality throughout the software development lifecycle. Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, Business Analysts, and Project Managers. Test Management & Delivery Develop comprehensive test plans, test strategies, and quality metrics. Manage testing activities across multiple projects and releases. Ensure appropriate coverage of functional, integration, end-to-end, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing. Identify quality risks early and provide mitigation recommendations. Monitor defect trends and drive continuous process improvement. Manual & Automation Testing Design and review effective test cases and test scenarios. Drive test automation initiatives and increase automation coverage. Evaluate and implement automation frameworks, tools, and best practices. Support CI/CD integration and automated quality gates. Analyze automation ROI and prioritize automation efforts based on business value. AI-Driven Quality Engineering Champion the use of AI tools to improve testing productivity and quality. Explore AI-assisted test case generation, test data creation, defect analysis, and automation development. Coach team members on effective use of AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or equivalent platforms. Identify opportunities to simplify and modernize QA processes using AI. Stay current on AI trends and emerging quality engineering practices. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering. 2+ years of experience leading or mentoring QA teams. Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Testing Life Cycle (STLC). Hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing. Experience with test management and defect tracking tools. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Communication in English is a plus.
