North Shore, Full Time, Trades & Services Please Quote Reference Number 18174 Premium Residential Joinery Take great cabinetry knowledge and turn it into great detailing $35-$45 per hour depending on experience At Manolas Bros, we specialise in premium residential cabinetry and bespoke joinery, working alongside leading interior designers and builders to deliver high-quality kitchens, wardrobes and custom cabinetry. We're looking for a Cabinetry CAD Detailer to join our team and help take design concepts through to accurate, practical drawings ready for manufacture. We're open to someone who already has cabinetry CAD detailing experience, but we're equally interested in an experienced cabinetmaker with great cabinetry knowledge, strong computer skills and a technical mindset who is looking to move off the tools and develop into a detailing role. For us, understanding cabinetry is the most important part. You need to know how it should be constructed, how the components come together and how the finished cabinetry will be manufactured and installed. If you've got that knowledge, we're happy to provide training in our systems. The Role You'll be responsible for: Producing accurate cabinetry drawings and manufacturing information using Polyboard and SketchUp Taking architectural and interior design drawings through to manufacture-ready cabinetry details Working through construction methods, materials, hardware and cabinetry detailing Thinking through how cabinetry will actually be manufactured, assembled and installed Identifying potential issues before they reach the workshop or site Working closely with our workshop and installation teams to make sure drawings are practical and accurate Communicating with designers, builders and other members of the project team when required Making sure every project leaving the detailing stage is ready to be manufactured to the standard expected of Manolas Bros What We're Looking For Ideally, you'll have: A strong cabinetmaking background and excellent understanding of cabinetry construction Previous cabinetry CAD/detailing experience would be highly regarded, but isn't essential for the right person Experience with Polyboard and/or SketchUp would be an advantage Good computer skills and confidence learning new software and systems Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good problem-solving skills and the ability to think practically An understanding of high-end residential joinery and the level of finish it requires Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team A genuine pride in producing quality work Ready to Move Off the Tools?
