Strategy and Analytics (SPX Express)

The Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud. Job Description: Strategy: Proactively develop hypotheses, identify problems, structure analyses, and design solutions Data analytics: Apply statistical techniques and analytical tools to uncover insights, test hypotheses, and support decisions using large datasets Product development: Build prototypes and MVPs, then iterate through successive versions based on data and user feedback Execution: Manage stakeholders and real-world operating constraints to bring strategies and products to life and deliver measurable value Little to no slides: We present through HTML-based reports, working products, and analytical outputs, with a focus on building the actual solutions Requirements: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a quantitative discipline, or demonstrated quantitative experience in lieu of a degree At least 2 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, software development, product management, or strategy consulting; top-performing fresh graduates and candidates from alternative career paths are welcome if they can demonstrate the relevant skills Experience working with large datasets beyond Excel and/or developing automated workflows Familiarity with statistical techniques and at least one data analytics stack, such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, regression, forecasting, or hypothesis testing Ability to move between problem framing, analysis, solution development, and implementation Ability to communicate effectively in both Thai and English
