About the role Our workshop looks after a diverse fleet, including trucks and trailers, loaders, forklifts, diggers and light road vehicles. These roles will involve a mix of preventative servicing, repairs, fault diagnosis and general fleet maintenance. Key responsibilities Servicing all vehicles Maintain and repair trucks and trailers to COF standards Prepare vehicles for WOF inspections Carry out repairs including brake relines, general maintenance and basic electrical fixes Quickly diagnose faults and apply effective solutions Maintain accurate service & maintenance records Work safely and follow all health and safety procedures Support your teammates and work collaboratively Understand the urgency of the transport industry and minimise vehicle downtime About you A relevant mechanical qualification and proven experience in a similar role Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills A proactive, can-do attitude A solid work ethic and ability to work well within a team About us Daltons is a respected New Zealand employer offering long-term career stability and a supportive and positive team environment.
