About the role The Digital Business Partner - Data Excellence serves as the strategic bridge between Manufacturing and Supply Chain business functions and the Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) , Data, Analytics and IT & Digital teams. The role co-owns the business-facing EDP Data Excellence strategy and Data Product portfolio , aligning EDP capabilities and investments with Factory of the Future (FoF) and enterprise business priorities. The role translates business processes, operational decisions, performance gaps and improvement opportunities into governed, trusted and reusable Data Products. Its scope includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain Data Products , operational and management reporting, Business Intelligence, KPI and semantic standards, Data Ownership and Stewardship, Data Quality, metadata and lineage, self-service analytics, and selected advanced analytics or AI use cases. The role leads the business side of the Data Product lifecycle from problem discovery, product vision, prioritization and business requirements through data validation, UAT, adoption and benefits realization. Process Owners retain accountability for process performance and source-data correctness; Data Owners and Data Stewards retain domain accountability; technical teams own architecture, engineering, models and platform operations. This role owns business-to-data alignment, Data Product priorities, adoption and measurable value. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Co-own the business-facing EDP Data Excellence strategy and Data Product portfolio with IT & Digital and Data leadership, ensuring alignment with FoF and enterprise Manufacturing and Supply Chain needs. Translate business processes, operational decisions and performance priorities into an actionable EDP Data Product roadmap with clear ownership, value and delivery priorities. Establish consistent KPI definitions, data ownership, quality expectations and trusted data sources across EDP-supported Data Products. Lead business-side delivery and lifecycle management of EDP Data Products within approved scope, timeline and budget. Drive adoption, reuse and measurable productivity, cost-avoidance or business benefits from EDP, Business Intelligence and Analytics investments. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Business Process, Data Product and EDP Governance Understand L1-L4 processes across Planning, Production, Quality, Asset and Maintenance, Inventory, Warehouse, Logistics and Performance Management. Facilitate workshops with Process Owners, Domain Digital Business Partners, Operations, Finance, IT, Data teams and vendors to identify decisions, pain points, information gaps and value opportunities. Map critical decisions and KPIs to business processes, users, source systems, Data Owners, business rules and required decision frequency. Define Data Product vision, target users, use cases, scope, roadmap, releases, service expectations, acceptance criteria and success measures. Develop and prioritize the Data Product backlog based on business value, decision criticality, data readiness, delivery effort, risk and reuse potential. Translate approved use cases into business requirements, user stories, KPI definitions, data-quality rules, acceptance criteria and requirements traceability. Develop business cases and cost or performance baselines covering manual reporting, decision lead time, data remediation, operational losses and technology expenditure. Ensure FoF and Manufacturing Data Products are delivered through the EDP in alignment with approved enterprise data strategy and architecture. Establish common business definitions, calculation logic and ownership for critical Manufacturing and Supply Chain KPIs. Coordinate Data Owners and Data Stewards in defining critical data elements, quality thresholds, validation rules, issue ownership and remediation priorities. Promote trusted data sources and prevent competing KPI definitions, uncontrolled report duplication and unnecessary data development. Monitor data completeness, accuracy, consistency, timeliness and validity; coordinate governance of relevant product, material, equipment, location, process, routing, quality and organizational master or reference data. Delivery, Adoption and Value Realization Ensure Data Products have documented ownership, business glossary, metadata, lineage, access classification and lifecycle status, partnering with Architecture, Engineering, BI, Cybersecurity and application teams on scalable, secure and supportable EDP solutions. Lead business-side delivery from discovery and prioritization through design review, data validation, UAT, deployment, stabilization and formal business acceptance; manage scope, milestones, budget, risks, dependencies and vendor outcomes through FoF and EDP governance. Embed Data Products into daily management and operational decision-making; drive stakeholder engagement, role-based training, Data Steward development, self-service guidance and BAU handover. Monitor usage, data quality, decision impact, support demand and financial benefits; govern enhancements, service performance, technical debt, retirement and reuse of KPI definitions, quality rules and semantic models to reduce future rollout cost. CRITICAL EXPERIENCES 5-8 years of experience in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Business-process Transformation, Data and Analytics, Digital Business Partnering or Digital product management. At least 2-3 years of direct experience as a Data Business Partner, Data Product Owner, Analytics Product Owner or equivalent business-facing data role within Manufacturing or Supply Chain. Proven ability to translate manufacturing processes, operational decisions and business problems into Data Products, requirements and measurable outcomes. Experience defining Data Product vision, use cases, roadmaps, backlogs, releases, acceptance criteria, KPI definitions, Data Ownership, Data Stewardship and data-quality rules. Experience delivering at least one EDP, Data, BI or Analytics initiative from discovery and data validation through UAT, go-live, adoption and stabilization. Experience developing business cases, establishing baselines and tracking productivity, cost avoidance or operational benefits. Experience coordinating Process Owners, business users, Data and IT teams, vendors and System Integrators in a matrix or multi-site manufacturing environment. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing or Production Engineering, Information Technology, Data or Business Analytics, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business Administration or a related discipline. Strong understanding of manufacturing and supply-chain processes, operational KPIs, cost drivers and management decision routines. Strong working knowledge of Data Product Management , including product vision, use-case prioritization, backlog management, release planning, adoption and value realization. Working knowledge of Data Governance, Data Ownership, Data Stewardship, data quality, metadata, lineage, master data and business glossary concepts. Working knowledge of Enterprise Data Platforms, Business Intelligence, semantic models, dashboards and self-service analytics; exposure to Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, SAP Analytics, Databricks, Snowflake or comparable platforms is advantageous. Ability to translate business questions into data requirements, KPI definitions, analytical views and practical decision-support products. Strong facilitation, analytical thinking, stakeholder-management and communication skills in Thai and English. Data Management, Product Owner, Business Analysis, Lean Six Sigma or Project Management certification is advantageous but not mandatory. Programming, data-pipeline development, database administration and detailed Data Architecture expertise are not required.
