QC Manager (Pharma and Cosmetics, Phatthanakan, Bangkok)

Our client is a pharmaceutical and cosmetics manufacturer. Responsibilities: Manage and oversee all Quality Control (QC) activities, including testing of raw materials, packaging materials, in-process products, and finished products to ensure compliance with established quality standards and specifications. Lead and develop Chemical and Microbiology Laboratory operations, ensuring accurate and reliable testing results, effective laboratory practices, and appropriate equipment management. Lead, manage, and develop the QC team by assigning responsibilities, monitoring performance, and strengthening technical capabilities to ensure compliance with GMP and company quality systems. Investigate quality issues, including Out-of-Specification (OOS), Out-of-Trend (OOT), and deviations, ensuring timely and effective resolution. Collaborate with Quality Assurance (QA), Production, R&D, and other relevant teams to conduct root cause analysis and implement effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA). Ensure QC laboratory operations comply with GMP, ISO, and applicable pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry standards and regulatory requirements. Support customer, regulatory, and certification audits by providing QC documentation, technical information, and appropriate corrective actions. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, Microbiology, or a related scientific discipline. Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Control (QC), preferably within the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, or related regulated manufacturing industry. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Chemical and Microbiology laboratory testing, GMP, ISO, and applicable pharmaceutical and cosmetic quality standards. Proven experience leading and managing QC teams, including workload planning, performance management, and team development. Hands-on experience investigating and managing Out-of-Specification (OOS), Out-of-Trend (OOT), deviations, Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), and root cause analysis. Strong understanding of laboratory quality systems, testing procedures, documentation, and regulatory compliance requirements. Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound quality-related decisions. Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with QA, Production, R&D, and other relevant departments.
