About the role We are looking for an Electrician or Engineer wanting to transition from the tools to the office and make a long term career in the machinery industry while remaining willing to service equipment, mechanical and electrical work, and installs periodically. As a small team of five, the role has a variety of tasks and varies most days with elements of Sales, Service/Repairs and Administration. This opportunity has become available due to aging work force and is allowing good time frames to transfer industry knowledge to the incoming member. Key responsibilities Handling shipping arrangements, spare parts sales/quotes and dispatch Invoice of service and parts Assistance with procurement and sales quoting Pre-delivery service checks Equipment ordering and sales Periodically willing to travel Some light lifting required About you High level of competence and computer literacy, including MS Office applications including Outlook, Word and Excel Ideal minimum two years of equipment servicing experience including electrical registration or similar experience in the Food industry Good command of the English language, both written and spoken Highly organized and able to manage your own time effectively, with the ability to achieve deadlines and prioritise work Flexible and able to adapt to business needs and fluctuating work requirements Ability to work proactively, with the ability to work within a team environment and alone Honest and reliable NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa About us We are predominately providing machinery to the Retail, Wholesale and Industrial Baking Industry since 1979 in Australia and New Zealand and are based in Albany, Auckland.
