Position Overview The Field Sales Executive will be responsible for developing and managing food service customers across all channels in Hong Kong, including restaurants, cha chaan teng, fast food, cafés, catering companies, hotels, clubs, and institutional accounts. The role focuses on driving volume, opening new accounts, building strong customer relationships, and executing sales and promotion plans in the local market. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage a portfolio of food service customers across all regions in Hong Kong. Visit customers regularly to understand their needs, introduce new products, and secure orders. Actively identify and open new accounts in target channels (independent restaurants, catering, institutional, bakery, etc). Achieve monthly and annual sales & distribution targets as agreed with management. Execute trade promotions, menu listings, trials, and merchandising activities at outlet level. Collect market intelligence on competitors’ activities, price levels, product performance, and customer feedback. Handle customer enquiries, basic complaints, and coordinate with internal teams (sales admin, logistics, finance, quality) to resolve issues. Prepare simple visit reports, sales summaries, and account plans for key customers. Work closely with the sales admin team to ensure accurate order processing, delivery follow‑up, and credit control support. Support sampling activities, product demonstrations, and food shows / trade events as required. Requirements Secondary education or above; training in hospitality, catering, food science, or business is an advantage. 2+ years’ sales experience in food service / F&B / FMCG; candidates with strong passion and contacts in the trade may be considered with less experience. Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to build long-term relationships with chefs, owners, and purchasing staff. Result‑driven, self‑motivated, and persistent, with a strong sense of responsibility. Able to work independently on the road and manage daily route planning and visit schedule. Good communication and negotiation skills, with basic numerical sense for pricing and margins. Proficient in using mobile apps and basic MS Office for reporting and order follow‑up. Possession of a valid Hong Kong driving licence is an advantage but not mandatory. Willing to work flexible hours when needed (e.g. early morning hotel visits, occasional evening events).
