Job description : Coordinate the month-end and year-end financial closing process to ensure timely and accurate reporting. Prepare management accounts, financial statements, and supporting schedules for the holding company and subsidiary companies. Manage and coordinate the external and internal audit process, including audit planning, preparation of schedules, and resolution of audit queries. Assist in consolidation of financial results for the Group, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and reporting requirements. Monitor, maintain, and track the Group's budgets, including budget utilization analysis and variance reporting. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial projections. Review accounting entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation prepared by Finance Executives to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies. Provide guidance, supervision, and on-the-job training to Finance Executives and other finance staff to ensure efficient finance operations. Support the Finance Manager in financial analysis, management reporting, and decision-making processes. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, internal controls, and company policies. Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, bankers, regulatory authorities, and other external stakeholders on finance-related matters. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, controls, and reporting accuracy within the finance function. Undertake ad-hoc assignments, special projects, and other duties as assigned by the superior from time to time. Qualifications/Skill Required Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional qualification is an added advantage. Minimum 4–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, and financial reporting. Strong knowledge of month-end closing, management accounts, budgeting, audit, and financial analysis. Familiarity with group consolidation and applicable accounting standards. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems. Good leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Able to supervise junior staff, manage multiple deadlines, and work independently. Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with auditors, bankers, and external stakeholders.
