Parts Interpreter

About the role CLAAS Harvest Centre Hawkes Bay is seeking a Parts Interpreter to join our team in Hastings, Hawkes Bay. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our operations. As a Parts Interpreter you will assist the Parts Manager with sourcing and procuring parts for a wide range of agricultural, horticultural and viticultural equipment from simple farm implements to large-scale combine harvesters and high-horsepower tractors. We service a wide range of equipment across a broad customer base resulting in a parts position which is both very dynamic and rewarding. What you'll be doing Interpreting technical documentation to identify correct parts Sourcing and locating parts from supplier networks and inventory systems Providing accurate parts information and recommendations to customers and service teams Reviewing technical manuals, diagrams and specifications to ensure part compatibility Liaising with customers to understand their parts requirements Managing parts enquiries and ensuring timely responses Maintaining accurate records of parts information and transactions Assisting with inventory management and parts cataloguing What we're looking for Farming or agricultural background, or experience from the automotive industry with general parts experience Good attention to detail Efficient and thorough with good paperwork management skills Able to interact well with people Competent in using computers and information systems Good knowledge of Agricultural, Viticultural, Horticultural machinery Good mechanical aptitude Sound knowledge of parts systems Excellence in customer service Excellent interpersonal communication About us Claas Harvest Centre Hawkes Bay is a leading agricultural engineering and farm machinery company with a diverse group of 35 staff working in the business.
