AI Architect

About the role As a inaugural AI Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization's enterprise AI vision and architecture framework from the ground up. Reporting to senior technology leadership, you will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to collect business use cases, manage vendor delivery, and establish in-house development capabilities for long-term AI scalable solutions. Key responsibilities Design, build, and govern enterprise-grade AI solution architectures, frameworks, and deployment standards across the organization. Translate business requirements into robust technical specifications, working closely with Business Analysts and business unit leaders to evaluate AI use cases. Architect and implement cloud-based AI infrastructure, leveraging Microsoft Azure AI services or equivalent cloud AI platforms. Lead vendor selection, proof-of-concept (PoC) evaluations, and technical oversight during initial implementation phases. Drive the transition from vendor-led delivery toward building strong internal AI development capabilities and codebases. Define governance, data privacy, security, and scalability guidelines for machine learning and generative AI deployment. About you Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Proven track record as an AI Architect, Enterprise Architect, or Lead Solutions Architect designing enterprise-scale AI/ML solutions. Strong expertise in cloud AI ecosystems, particularly Microsoft Azure AI / OpenAI services or similar enterprise platforms. Experience in defining enterprise architecture frameworks, AI governance models, and solution design patterns. Hands-on experience or strategic capability in guiding full-stack/AI software development from ideation to production. Strong vendor management skills with the ability to bridge technical AI concepts for non-technical stakeholders and business leads. Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Cantonese.
