Development Fabricator / Technical Support

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Development Fabricator / Technical Support professional to join our OMEGA team. This role supports the development, testing, and continuous improvement of our aluminium window and door systems, while providing technical expertise and support to our fabricator network. About the Role This hands-on role is responsible for manufacturing and testing aluminium windows and doors, supporting product development initiatives, and providing ongoing technical support and training. Working closely with the Product and Technical Support Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our products meet required standards and perform to the highest level. Key Responsibilities Include: Assisting with the development of aluminium window and door systems and associated building products in line with company objectives and industry standards. Installing and testing aluminium window and door systems within our IANZ accredited laboratory, including configuring and modifying test booth setups to support a range of testing programmes. Assisting with remedial work during testing and undertaking on-site remedial work when required. Providing fabricator training and technical support to our network of fabricators. Travelling as required to support testing, training, installations, and technical projects. About You You are a practical, technically minded professional with a strong background in aluminium joinery fabrication and installation. You enjoy problem solving, take pride in producing quality work, and are confident working across a range of technical and hands-on activities. You will bring: A minimum of 5 years' experience within the aluminium window and door industry, including cutting, machining, assembly, and glazing of aluminium joinery. A minimum of 5 years' experience installing aluminium joinery. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail. Knowledge of AutoCAD would be advantageous, although not essential. A collaborative team-focused approach and willingness to support others.
