Planning & Forecasting Support finance related matters ranging from revenue forecasting, budgeting, operating expense management to resource/headcount planning. Responsible for the preparation of the yearly Business Plan which includes monitoring the submission from all cost centers and consolidation process of total Uni-Charm Group. Coordinate and prepare the annual budget for submission to the management as and when required, and monitor the actual performance against the budget. Review forecast assumptions submitted by Sales & Marketing on volume and pricing for total Uni-Charm Group. Drive financial analysis for New Product Development (NPD), evaluating pre-launch prioritization and conducting post-launch assessments. Support scenario planning, long-range forecasting, and advanced financial modeling to evaluate various business strategies. Management Reporting and Analysis Ensure the timely and accuracy of monthly management reporting and analyze variations from forecasts, budgets and prior periods to provide accurate explanations. Provide trend analysis and understand drivers of key performance metrics. Work closely with commercial or business leads for outlook updates, risks & opportunities, financial performance, business updates, and etc. Ensure business leads understand their financial results and their financial responsibilities for the area they manage. Liaison with DSGT or DSGIL finance teams, attending to month end review queries and presenting results. Ensure strong linkages are established with DSGT and DSGIL to support planning, budgeting, forecasting process and healthy communication. Prepare, analyze country level financial report to ensure the analysis work could support the analysis work of finance management team and operation departments. Lead gross profit (GP) improvement analysis, offering insights on pricing and promotional activities to influence commercial decision-making. Financial Dashboard, Customer and Brand Profitability Provide financial insights to business partners at forecast interlock to drive agreement on submission. Provide financial advice to Business partners on accuracy of forecast. Provision of financial data to enable the account to perform to financial expectations and ensure all business decisions are supported by thorough financial analysis. Interact with other managers to provide consultative support to planning initiatives through financial and management information analyses, reports, and recommendations. Analyze, monitor and report the progress of specific performance indicators and key milestones for each business unit to ensure that they are on track. Drive and implement financial dashboard and ensure uniformity and integrity of financial information provided in the financial dashboard. Prepare reports that summarize and forecast the company business activities and financial positions in areas of profitability based on past, present, and expected operations. Continuous Improvement & Ad-Hoc Operations Report and analyze capital spending for total Uni-Charm Group, prepare report on budget vs. actual and providing financial analysis for the variances. Develop monthly reporting procedures to provide meaningful information for Business Leads in a timely manner. Continuously working with business leads to enhance financial dashboard. Drive and implement financial planning process to ensure uniformity and integrity of financial information. Carry out ad hoc analysis to facilitate decision making by the Business Leads. Perform any duties/task assigned by superior. Identify opportunities for cost optimization and spearhead process improvements across financial reporting systems. Requirements: Education & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance. Minimum 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis. Experience in the FMCG sector and commercial finance is highly preferred. Technical Skills: Proficiency with financial planning software, BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and ERP systems (e.g., SAP). Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of accounting data to develop variance analysis against budgets, forecasts, business plans, and cost estimates. Solid computer skills, including Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
