Professional Dog Walker - Eastern Suburbs

Doggy Social - Dog Walking and Pet Care are a long standing and professional dog walking service based in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs, and we're excited to welcome a dedicated Dog Walker to join our team. This role services clients across Paddington, Bondi and Vaucluse and is ideal for someone seeking a long term position within a growing business, with a focus on building lasting relationships with our clients and their dogs. The role will be 30-38 hours per week. Monday to Friday . Hours range between 7:30am - 3:00pm. Please note this is an ongoing position and not suitable for those seeking short term or school / university holiday work. About You You're reliable, calm, and genuinely passionate about animal care. You enjoy working independently, take pride in your work, and understand the importance of consistency for both dogs and their owners. You're confident handling dogs and able to think quickly on your feet. You must be a confident driver as driving to pick up and drop home dogs will be required. A work vehicle will be provided. About The Role Manage small group walks of up to four dogs at a time, in local, dog friendly parks Walk dogs one-on-one from their homes Safe driving to transport dogs to and from local parks Use confident dog handling skills, including reading body language and behaviour (we walk the same dogs every week so you will get to know our dogs very well) Provide a high level of care, supervision, and attention Conduct basic health and welfare checks to ensure each dogs' wellbeing Maintain professional communication with clients and team members Positively represent Doggy Social in public and whilst driving Take photos/videos on your own smartphone during each dog walk Requirements Current Australian drivers' license with a clean driving record (essential) Availability Monday to Friday 7:30am – 3:00pm Current police check and references Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions Calm, positive, and dependable attitude Strong reliability, patience, and punctuality Strong independence, time management skills, and confidence in a physically active, driving based role How To Apply Please submit a short cover letter outlining why you'd be a great fit for this role, along with your resume.
