Head, Corporate Trustee Operations

About The Role We are seeking an experienced and highly driven leader to join our team as the Head, Corporate Trustee Operations at Pacific Trustees Berhad. In this essential role, you will be be responsible for managing governance, operational excellence and strategic expansion of our corporate trust unit. You primary focus will be leading a high performing team, maintaining rigorous regulatory compliance and risk management while spearheading process automation and operational efficiency. You will oversee services in the Capital Market portfolio that includes Corporate Bonds, Sukuk and Facility Agency services. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, clients, arrangers and regulators to deliver exceptional value and achieve our group's objectives. What You Will Be Doing Operational Leadership & Strategy: Lead the development and implementation of strategies to enhance the Trustee business while managing team performance to meet operational objectives. Governance & Risk Management: Ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements, oversee operational controls, and manage audit matters. Business Growth: Drive revenue and cost objectives, improve operational efficiency, and identify initiatives to boost client satisfaction. Stakeholder & Team Management: Manage relationships with regulators, solicitors, and financial institutions while coaching team members for career growth and succession planning. Digital Transformation: Lead process improvements and automation initiatives, including documenting system specifications and overseeing User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Operational Execution: Oversee the establishment of designated accounts, revenue collection, and the maintenance of the Operations Manual. What We're Looking For Professional Expertise: Proven leadership experience in corporate trustee operations, corporate banking, corporate finance, facility agency, capital markets, investment banking or related financial services environment. Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of industry guidelines and regulations relevant to capital markets. Technical Proficiency: Strong IT skills with a focus on system enhancement and digital transformation. Soft Skills: Exceptional strategic thinking, adaptability and the ability to engage confidently with senior management.
