Senior Finance Business Analyst

Position Summary We are seeking a Senior Finance Business Analyst to support finance transformation and ERP implementation initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with Finance, Accounting, and Technology stakeholders to analyze, optimize, and standardize finance processes while ensuring business requirements are effectively translated into system solutions. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong accounting or controlling background who have gained experience in business analysis, process improvement, and ERP transformation projects. Key Responsibilities Partner with Finance stakeholders to analyze current-state processes and identify improvement opportunities. Gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements. Lead process mapping, gap analysis, and process redesign activities across finance functions. Support finance transformation initiatives involving accounting, controlling, and reporting processes. Collaborate with ERP implementation teams to ensure business requirements are incorporated into solution design and configuration. Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions to drive alignment and decision-making. Support testing activities, user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and deployment. Prepare clear documentation, presentations, and status updates for business stakeholders and project teams. Act as a liaison between Finance and Technology teams throughout the project lifecycle. Requirements Must-Have 5–10 years of experience in Business Analysis, Finance Transformation, Finance Systems, or related roles. Strong knowledge of accounting, financial controlling, and financial reporting processes. Solid understanding of month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and finance operations. Proven business analysis and process optimization experience. Hands-on ERP implementation experience, including requirements gathering, testing, and deployment support. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills. Nice-to-Have Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365). Luxury retail industry experience. Consulting experience gained within a Big 4, management consulting firm, or transformation advisory environment. Preferred Candidate Profile Background in Accounting, Finance, Controlling, or Financial Reporting. Experience participating in finance transformation or ERP implementation projects. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Able to bridge business and technology stakeholders effectively. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment with multiple stakeholders across functions and regions.
