The Role ED/MD, Equity Capital Markets, IBD Key Accountabilities Participate in investor targeting: Identify long-only funds, hedge funds, sovereign wealth funds, etc.; analyze holdings and subscription preferences; Review roadshow materials, investor presentation (pitchbook), order book; coordinate with ECM execution team, sales, and research teams; Manage the order book: entry, de-duplication, analysis, consolidation, and real-time monitoring of subscription momentum; Coordinate order updates with the sales team and respond to training inquiries from investors and sales; Develop allocation strategy: manage price, deal size and investor to ensure adequate coverage; Provide pricing recommendations to senior management and participate in final pricing meetings; Coordinate with middle/back office, finance and settlement teams to ensure accurate P&L, fees and commission; Prepare transaction reports, investor analysis and league table; Liaise with related internal and external parties to monitor market sentiment, comparable transactions and investor feedback to subsequent deals; Perform other duties assigned by supervisor from time to time. Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree or above, Finance, Economics, Accounting or BBA preferred; At least 10 years of relevant experience in investment banking, ECM, institutional sales, or equity research; Candidates with over 2 years of working experience in Hong Kong or overseas is considered as an advantage; Familiar with listing rules and regulatory requirements for Hong Kong, US, and A-share markets; Hands-on experience in IPOs, right issues, convertible bonds, and placement transactions; Solid understanding of primary and secondary markets, investor behavior, and equity pricing mechanics; Proficient in Excel (data processing, financial modeling, pivot tables); familiarity with Dealogic and other book-building systems preferred; Ability to multitask and work under pressure, strong communication and coordination skills, attention to detail, high accuracy is required; Established coverage and network with institutional investors including mutual funds, insurance companies, hedge funds, and sovereign wealth funds; Good knowledge of valuation and financial modeling, including DCF and comparable company analysis; Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese; Mandarin/Cantonese is a plus.
