If you have a background in civil or geotechnical engineering and a strong interest in steel structure quality control, this is the perfect opportunity for you! 📌 Job Highlights Location: Tai Po (Full-time stationed at a large-scale steel fabrication plant) Employment Type: 2-Year Renewable Contract Working Hours: 5.5 days work week Benefits: 10 Days Annual Leave & Comprehensive Medical Insurance 🛠️ Key Responsibilities As a core member of our on-site team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our steel fabrication processes: Project Execution: Carry out specific tasks strictly as per the requirements and checklists devised by the AP/RSE/TCPs. Quality Monitoring: Supervise, monitor, and inspect the entire steel fabrication process and the finished products. Material Testing: Conduct incoming inspections, continuous monitoring, and sampling for reinforcing steels. Coordination: Act as a communication bridge, coordinating and liaising effectively with clients and engineering teams. Issue Resolution: Handle non-conformities professionally by making prompt referrals to the AP/RSE's representative and notifying the TCPs. 🎓 Minimum Requirements Education & Experience (Must meet ONE of the following): Certificate in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; OR Degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience; OR Passed the specified Technically Competent Person (T1) training course as stipulated in the Code of Practice for Site Supervision . Professional Qualifications & Other Conditions: Must meet the minimum qualifications and experience of a Technically Competent Person (TCP) of grade T1 , as stipulated in the Code of Practice for Site Supervision . Preferred: Working experience in a steel cut and bend yard is highly advantageous. Personal Traits: Positive working attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
