QA Auditor (Textile Product, Factory Audit Focus)

Job Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with vendors, factories, and internal production teams to schedule and coordinate final random inspections. Perform on-site factory inspections and prepare detailed inspection reports in a timely manner. Conduct comprehensive technical audits of factories to identify opportunities for improvement in production processes, workmanship, and quality systems. Work in partnership with the sourcing team, production team, and business partners to investigate and resolve quality issues, develop and implement effective corrective and preventive action plans (CAPA). Provide professional quality control (QC) guidance and training to vendors and factories to ensure consistent adherence to quality standards and requirements. Manage customer complaints and conduct quality investigations as required. Support colour approval processes, including bulk colour assessments and related approvals. Undertake any ad-hoc tasks or projects assigned by the Quality Manager. Job Requirements: Higher Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Quality Assurance, Fashion & Textile Technology, Garment Manufacturing, or a related discipline. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in quality specialist, inspector, auditor, or similar roles within the apparel, garment, or textile industry. Must successfully pass the Munsell Hue Test (100) for colour vision accuracy. Strong technical knowledge of garment production processes, quality control inspection standards, and factory technical auditing practices. Solid understanding of quality management systems, tools, and methodologies (e.g., AQL sampling, defect classification, root cause analysis). Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including bulk colour approvals, textile testing, and inspection coordination. Willingness and availability for frequent overseas travel (more than 60% of working time). Excellent attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently under pressure. Proficiency in English (written and spoken); additional language skills (e.g., Mandarin or Cantonese) are advantageous for vendor communication.
