Solutions Architect Lead

We are seeking an experienced solution architect to join our AWS solution team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping customers solve complex business challenges with AWS best practice solutions, architecture design, and presale presentation skills. Solution architects will work closely with our customers to understand their business requirements, identify opportunities for cloud-based solutions, and develop architectural solutions that meet their needs. Responsibilities Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, related technical field or equivalent practical experience 5+ years in technical architecture, presales, or solution architecture roles within Cloud industry (including at least 2+ years of hands-on experience with AWS) Experience with one of the following programming languages: Python, Node.js, Java, C#, or C++ Working knowledge of Linux, Web 2.0 development platforms, solutions, and related technologies (HTTP/HTTPS, RESTful API, sessions, XML/HTML). Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies Exceptional communication (with executives, IT Management, and developers) and storytelling skills to translate technical value into business outcomes. Expertise in DevOps, Database, Machine Learning, or Serverless Computing Strong sense of ownership capable of keeping high performance in a dynamic working environment Fluent in English and Mandarin for effective partner communication. Plus: o AWS Certification (AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Profession, or Speciality) o ISV experience o Experience with hybrid cloud environments and multi-cloud strategies. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience 1+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience with distributed applications 1+ years of architecture experience in infrastructure, databases, or application development Experience with one of the following programming languages: Python, Node.js, Java, C#, or C++ Working knowledge of Linux, Web 2.0 development platforms, solutions, and related technologies (HTTP/HTTPS, RESTful API, sessions, XML/HTML) Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly. Strong sense of ownership capable of maintaining high performance in a dynamic working environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese. Preferred Qualifications Strong expertise in AWS services, architecture patterns, and best practices. Proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code. Experience designing, building, refactoring or operating large scale and impactful IT projects - either on premises or in the cloud What We Offer 5-day work week.
