About the role As an AI Data Engineer at SEFAR FABRICATION (M) SDN BHD, you will build and manage the data backbone that powers Sefar's artificial intelligence capabilities. This full-time position is based in Taman Desa Cemerlang Johor and will involve to design, create and maintain robust data pipelines and infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform to ensure our AI applications are fueled by high-quality, timely and well-structured data, with a key focus on enabling advanced techniques like Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) What you'll be doing Design, build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to process structured and unstructured data from enterprise sources Manage the data lifecycle for Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), including ingestion, cleaning, transformation, chunking and embedding generation Architect and manage data infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (e.g., BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Data flow) to support AI development Implement processes and tools to ensure the quality, integrity, availability and governance of data used in AI solutions Analyze structured and unstructured datasets to identify patterns, insights and relevant data sources for AI use cases.
