Welding Foreman Our client, an established infrastructure engineering company based in Tauranga is seeking Welding Foreman. The Role Hands on lead position 80% hands on 20% lead work: welding stainless steel and carbon steel for infrastructure projects and associated piping and components. Duties include Carry out stainless steel carbon steel TIG/MIG welding fabrication and mechanical installation Supervise and support workshop staff Coordinate daily production and workflow Ensure health & safety and quality standards are maintained Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Conduct quality checks and resolve fabrication issues Foster strong teamwork and communication Work in shop and onsite for infrastructure projects. What We’re Looking For 5+ years proven experience in stainless steel fabrication Strong TIG and MIG welding capability Previous supervisory or team leadership experience Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Strong communication and problem-solving skills A high level of attention to detail Commitment to workplace health & safety, and Quality documentation. Experience with piping and or mechanical installation.
