Event Coordinator Department: Marketing & Events Employment Type: Full-Time Location: Bangkok, Thailand (with travel to event sites as required) Languages Required: Thai (fluent) and English (professional working proficiency) Job Summary The Event Coordinator plans and executes events and exhibition booths from concept through completion, managing logistics, on-site setup, and sales activities. This role also drives sponsorship efforts — sourcing partners, building proposals, and maintaining relationships to help fund events. Strong organization, bilingual (Thai/English) communication, and problem-solving skills are essential. Key Responsibilities Event & Booth Management Plan, organize, and coordinate event booths and all related event materials from concept through completion. Prepare event logistics, including booth layout, signage, collateral, equipment, and supplies. Oversee on-site setup, staffing, and operations to ensure smooth execution of events and booths. Manage on-site sales activities during events, including product/service displays, transactions, and customer engagement. Prepare post-event reports covering attendance, sales performance, costs, and key learnings. Sponsorship & Partnerships Identify, approach, and secure sponsors to support events and offset event costs. Prepare sponsorship proposals, pitch decks, and partnership agreements in coordination with relevant teams. Maintain relationships with sponsors and partners, ensuring agreed deliverables are fulfilled before, during, and after events. Coordination & Communication Liaise with internal teams (marketing, sales, finance) and external vendors/suppliers to ensure timely delivery of event needs. Communicate effectively in both Thai and English with clients, sponsors, vendors, and event attendees. Handle on-site issues and troubleshoot problems as they arise during events. Requirements & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. Proven experience in event coordination, booth management, or a similar role (experience with on-site sales is a plus). Fluent in Thai and English, both written and spoken. Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple events/deadlines simultaneously. Experience in sponsorship sourcing, proposal writing, or partnership development preferred. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and to travel to event venues as needed. Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace; experience with event management tools is a plus.
