ABOUT THE ROLE Join Invest Johor as an Executive, Investment Facilitation (Financial & Commercial) , where you will support the facilitation and implementation of investment projects in Johor through financial and commercial analysis, evaluation of investment proposals and business plans, and coordination with investors, government agencies, financial institutions, and industry stakeholders. The role will also support strategic investment initiatives, including the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ) and Special Financial Zone (SFZ), while contributing to the resolution of investment-related issues and the broader investment promotion and economic development agenda of Johor. Strong financial and commercial acumen, analytical thinking, project coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills will be key to succeeding in this role. KEY RESPONSIBILITY Facilitate investment projects from inquiry through implementation by coordinating with investors and relevant government agencies. Review and assess investment proposals, financial information, and business plans to support investment facilitation. Conduct financial and commercial analysis, including feasibility assessments and project evaluations. Coordinate approvals, incentives, permits, and regulatory requirements with relevant authorities. Support the development and facilitation of investment initiatives under Johor’s Special Financial Zone (SFZ), including coordination with relevant government agencies, financial institutions, industry associations, and other stakeholders. Facilitate enquiries and investment opportunities relating to financial services, financial institutions, and other activities within the SFZ, where applicable. Prepare briefing papers, reports, presentations, and investment-related documentation for management and stakeholders. Monitor the progress of investment projects and provide timely support to investors. Build and maintain strong relationships with local and foreign investors, government agencies, financial institutions, and industry partners. Participate in investment promotion activities, business meetings, and official engagements as required. Perform any other duties assigned by Management. REQUIREMENTS Certified Financial Planner (CFP) qualification is highly preferred . Professional qualifications such as CFA, ACCA, or membership with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) will be an added advantage. Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Banking, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in finance, investment, corporate finance, banking, financial advisory, consulting, or investment promotion. Strong knowledge of financial analysis, international finance, financial markets, cross-border investment, investment assessment, and commercial feasibility. Good understanding of investment processes, corporate finance, financial services, economic development, and investment facilitation. Excellent analytical, report writing, and presentation skills. Able to communicate professionally in both English and Bahasa Malaysia. Additional language proficiency is an advantage. Willing to travel within Malaysia and overseas when required.
